Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte is our first book. Our deadline is June 30th, when we'll meet to discuss! Until then, this is the spot where we can comment and question what we're reading.

Enjoy!

  1. I have discovered the joy of the online version of sparknotes. I read a chapter and then read what sparknotes has to say about the chapter. I also like the link on sparknotes that explains important passages.

  2. I am really enjoying the book. I have given up on trying to decipher Joseph's Yorkshire(?) accent. People fell ill easily then -- didn't they. Next time I get a cold I'm staying in bed for 3 weeks. Now I titally want to read Jane Erye to see what kind of girl I am.

  3. I just want to throw out there -- that anyone who didn't finish the book - should plan on coming to book club Tuesday evening. We want to see you. And the debate whether young Catherine has a soul or not should be good one. (haha, Brig)

  4. Brig and I agree with Edward Cullen - this is a hate story, not a love story.
