So far, I am also reading The Hour I First Believed, by Wally Lamb. I'm only a few chapters in, so I can't say if I would recommend it for certain yet. It does keep my attention, and it's nice and long, so it will be a good one to take on a 2 week vacation. (I hate it when I finish my book after 2 days...) I also have plans to read The Graveyard Book soon, which was the 09 Newbery winner.
